Description

Objects of research and development of the Quality Management Department are the following 3 topics:

1. Software process-development and quality management consultancy and training

In this field, we are engaged in maturity assessment of the software quality, expertise of process improvement, development of quality management system, software-technology and software process-development for identification and spreading of industrial-needs. We started the development of the Quality Management System of MTA SZTAKI according to the ISO 9000:2000 in 2001 and the certification audit have been successful on 29.03.2002. Our software quality-related projects of the 5th. Framework Program of the European Union are: CBSEnet Component Based Software Engineering network (2002-2004) and the SQUFOL Software Quality Founded on design Laws (2002-2003) projects.

2. EU research and development consulting and training

Within the framework of the contact-building IDEALIST-5FP (2000-2003) project of the European Commission to disseminate information and to help international research and development we support the European research and development institutions to identify the appropriate Hungarian partner. We facilitate the involvement of the Hungarian candidates in European research and development projects within the liaison office of the Information Society Technologies (ISTOK). We were present at 20 events in 2002 supporting Hungarian applicants.

3. E-work, E-learning and E-skill solutions.

The research of E-teamwork is produced within the framework of EU 5th Framework TEAMWork (2001-2003) project. We create e-learning training-materials in the Best Practice in E-Commerce and Job Role Qualifications (2002-2003), An interactive training Tool for the Management and Minimization of non-Domestic Solid and Aqueous Wastes (2002-2004) and the Energy Efficiency for Europe (2001-2004) projects of the Leonardo da Vinci program.
