Description
The Informatics Center is divided into three Departments:
In the Database Management Solutions Department the key area of activity is multimedia with special regard to the development of multimedia e-Learning training materials. Another strategic area is the integrated application of digital signature and fingerprint based person identification technologies.
The Quality Management Department deals with Software process-development and quality management consultancy and training EU research and development consulting and training. The research deals with E-teamwork, E-work, E-learning and E-skill solutions.
The System Development Department focuses on the development of highly distributed systems that satisfy the many sided and quickly changing customer demands. The department also works on agent based and component based computing that leverages the development of internet applications.
