The main research topics of the Laboratory are the following:
- Algebraic methods in discrete mathematics
- Algorithms, complexity, and models of computation
- Combinatorial optimization
- Database theory
- Data mining and web search
- Discrete and computational geometry
- Nonparametric statistics
- Quantum computation
- Symbolic computation
We are active in university education as well. We lecture courses
on computer science and mathematics at the Technical University of
Budapest and at Eötvös University.
